My Dogs Day at the Beach

Activities | DogsI took my dog Kayla to Pass-a-Grille dog beach in St. Petersburg and she loved it! She's a big fan of the water, so I knew she would love playing in the waves and chasing the seagulls. As soon as we got there, she ran right into the water and started having a blast.
I had brought along a Frisbee, so I was able to throw it for her in between her swims. She would fetch it and bring it back to me, dropping it at my feet with a look that said "throw it again!" There were other dogs there too, so she made some new friends and had a great time running around with them.
After a few hours of play, we were both exhausted and ready to go home. Kayla curled up in the backseat for the ride home and fell asleep almost immediately. It was a perfect day spent together and I'm already looking forward to our next trip to the beach!
If you're looking for a fun day out with your dog, I highly recommend taking them to the beach! They'll have a blast playing in the water and making new friends. Just be sure to pack plenty of water and snacks for yourself and your pup, and don't forget the sunscreen!
